is a Chicago-based actor, writer, and voiceover artist, who arrived there via a circuitous path.

After growing up in the farmlands of rural Wisconsin, not far from Green Bay (Go Pack Go!), she received a BA in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  An unplanned stint interning at the White House led her to Washington, DC, where she then worked at a corporate governance firm, which quickly promoted her to a post in London.  After a couple of years across the pond, she felt a need for sunshine and creativity, so left corporate life for Los Angeles, where she worked for CAA, Mark Burnett Productions, and CBS.

After so long behind the scenes, Chanda could no longer deny the call to perform, so spent several years developing her craft on stage, then made the leap to screen.  She can be seen and heard in independent features, short films, TV commercials, webseries, corporate videos, podcasts, and internet videos, including the viral “Radishes” for The Onion: Clickhole.

Chanda is also a self-taught photographer, with a special focus on the beauty of rural Wisconsin and its bovine inhabitants, and displays her work at galleries, art festivals, and online.
